Gabala

Gabala is one of the oldest cities in Azerbaijan and the Caucasus. Ancient sources such as the Great Pliny (23-79 years) and Ptolemies (70-147 years) were mentioned as Kabalaka and Khabala. In Gabala there is an ancient Tower of the IX-XI centuries, a mosque of the XVIII century, the mausoleum of Imam Baba of the XVIII-XIX centuries, the Juma mosque, and also the great historical museum. Along with this, Gabala has a graceful nature, mountain forests and waterfalls.

Chukhur Gabala

Because of the location of the relief of the settlement is called Chuhur Gabala. Located in the Alazan Valley, 34 km from the city center. This village was part of the capital of ancient Albania, the city of Gabala. The ancient walls of the castle in the village of Chukhur Gabala are kept as symbols of historical culture. As a result of archaeological excavations carried out in this area, monuments and tombs of ancient and medieval centuries were discovered.

Seven Beauties

In the village of Vandam in the Gabala district there is a waterfall “Seven Beauties”. The “Seven Beauties” waterfall is located 4 km from the village of Vandam at the foot of the mountain, which has a dense forest. In winter, the whole surface of the waterfall is covered with ice. Every year thousands of tourists come to this place to enjoy this natural beauty.
